Our Company
Compass Independent Financial Services Ltd was founded in 2001. Originally located in Diss, we moved to the eastern outskirts of Norwich in December 2009, to much larger and more well-appointed offices in Blofield.
Mission Statement
Compass was set up with a desire to support local communities and residents with their finances and act as a respectful expert in matters of financial advice; primarily wealth management, investments, pensions and inheritance tax planning. We are a team of people who are passionate about what we do and we are dedicated to supporting those looking to effectively manage their finances by building long-term, successful relationships with our clients.

The Directors at Compass truly believe in fully independent financial advice so you know from the outset that any advice we give has not been guided by any provider or commission payments, as we are not linked or tied to any financial provider.
In it for the long-term
We have developed long-term relationships both with personal and corporate clients, inspiring great client loyalty. Many of our team have been with us for a number of years which helps us build trusted relationships. We have also established good relationships with solution providers in order to continually give good value to our clients.
Continuing investment
We have in place a programme of continuing investment in technology, staff training and compliance procedures, designed to deliver a service that meets our clients’ expectations. This investment means we are well positioned to absorb and benefit from the changes that are taking place both within the financial services industry and the wider economic climate.
Serving the community
Compass gives financial advice across Norfolk and Norwich and is well known within both the local and wider community for working with local institutions such as schools to help foster a real sense of community spirit.
We often donate to local sports clubs such as the Blofield Tennis Club and support community events.
We also support local secondary schools by providing work experience and work placements throughout the year.
Charity support
Compass actively supports several local and national charities. Along with making regular donations to the East Anglian Air Ambulance, we have also supported Cancer Research UK and local animal charities through sponsoring staff and their families in charity events. We annually sponsor the Blofield School summer fête as well as donating unrequired stationery to local schools.
